# Backend for Businesses

## What we do
- We build custom business software, not one fixed product. Each build is made around how the client's business works.
- Common builds: warranty claim tracking, quote builders, parts and stock reorder alerts, service scheduling, customer follow-ups, inspection and job forms with PDF reports, owner dashboards, and connections between existing tools.
- First focus industry: equipment dealers and repair shops (tractor and ag dealers, forklift dealers, heavy equipment, powersports, outdoor power equipment, marine, trailer and RV service, appliance repair).

## How it works
1. Free 20 to 40 minute discovery call and audit (the "Money Leak Audit") on Zoom. We find what costs time and money and whether a custom build is the right move.
2. Second call a day or two later: a free mockup (visual preview), a fixed price and feedback. Payment is made after the mockup, before the build.
3. Build with AI-assisted engineering, connected to existing tools, with a working preview link and periodic reviews.
4. Handoff: source code, live system, data and documentation belong to the client. Optional ongoing support.

Smaller projects take 1 to 2 weeks from first call to handoff; the more complex the build, the longer it takes.

## Pricing
- Builds start at $3,000 (fixed price). Larger builds from $5,000 and $10,000.
- Running costs are shown up front: hosting about $50 a month; AI usage about $20 to $100 a month if the build uses AI.
- Guarantee: if we don't deliver what was agreed in writing, the client gets a full refund.

## What it is not
- Not a giant all-in-one platform like HubSpot. Each build does the specific jobs a business needs.
- AI that reads messy documents always has a human check before anything is sent.
- Money calculations in quotes and invoices use normal code, not AI.
